Our first Bundle Baby came about when Beth was making a doll for Isabel and Isabel snatched it away before the face and limbs were done. Isabel wouldn't give it back to Beth to finish. She called it her Bundle Baby, and we later found out that dolls without features are in the original Waldorf tradition. The idea is that children will be more creative and imagine their own expressions. These dolls are weighted with natural grains, about 1.5 to 2 pounds. Kids of all ages love that substantial feeling.
Our Bundle Babies come in an organic velour bundle, removable for washing, and the hat is sewn on. They now come with an adorable sleepy face.
